As part of Emperor Emmanuel Church's social commitment project Heal - 2023, a Mega Medical Camp was organised for the residents of Muriyad and Aloor Grama Panchayats on December 30, 2023 at the Vallakkunnu Lions Club Auditorium. The camp was inaugurated by the Hon. Kerala Higher Education Minister Dr. R. Bindu.
The camp, which was attended by experienced doctors and other paramedical staff from Apollo Hospital - Karukutty, Marina Hospital - Irinjalakuda, Gurudharma Hospital - Mala, Trinity Eye Hospital - Thrissur, Dental Association - Kodungallur, became a step towards achieving the social goal of the Emperor Emmanuel Church for providing better medical facilities free of cost to the residents.
In this regard, the free ambulance service provided by Emperor Emmanuel Church for the residents of Muriyad Grama Panchayat was inaugurated by Hon. Chalakudy MLA Saneesh Joseph and the distribution of wheelchairs for the needy patients was performed by Hon. Thrissur District Panchayat President P.K. Davis Master.
Thrissur District Panchayat Vice President Latha Chandran, Muriyad Grama Panchayat President Jose Chittilappilly, Aloor Grama Panchayat President K. R. Jojo and many other civic leaders attended the camp, where free medical check-ups and follow-up treatment were provided to a large number of people in Muriyad and Aloor Grama Panchayats.
